EVN´s Customers´ Board

EVN is strongly interested in securing opinions from its customers. To achieve this, the company founded in Spring 2011 its Customers’ Board. Starting in February 2011, the recruiting of the board’s 24 members in Lower Austria is being undertaken via EVN Journal (the company’s customer journal) and via the company’s Website. Eligible for participation are all those customers procuring from EVN their electricity, natural gas, heat, water or cable-based media.

These 24 members are to meet twice a year with the patron of the customers’ board, a member of EVN’s executive board, and with EVN staff members. Via exchanges of information and opinions, they will discuss topics of interest to the customers.

EVN’s Customers’ Board is to serve solely as a consultant and sounding board. It is to proactively supply ideas and proposals facilitating the configuration of services, products, communication measures and the like. The Customers’ Board is an advanced form of communication with customers in that it exemplifies the ideals of the company’s placing a high priority on engaging in a dialogue with the customers designed to elicit their opinions.

The Customers’ Board will take searching looks at current situations, will evaluate new developments and will supply insights and ideas. Comprised in this consulting are those topics pertaining to the provision of services to end-customers. To fulfill this function, the board will dedicate itself to subjects of topical interest, make suggestions, take on matters of importance and voice the interests of customer groups. Term of service on EVN’s Customers’ Board is two years.
