Attractive workplaces for young people
Starting a few years ago EVN has intensified its efforts to train young people.
Young people are provided with sound training, theoretically and practically, and are thus given a solid basis for their future careers.
Experienced apprenticeship supervisors and skilled employees work in mixed-aged groups together with young people and thus ensure the transfer of know-how
to the next generation.
With the appointment of youth councillors in the year 2008, apprentices have also been given a voice in the Works Council and can express their concerns. In the fall of 2008, an event was held for the youth councillors during which, among other issues, they received instruction on labour legislation topics.
