A tried and tested system proving its value for years
EVN’s environmental management system is certified according to the ISO 14001 and EMAS standards. These guidelines guarantee implementation of an optimal environmental protection programme as well as ongoing improvement processes.
Back in 1995, EVN already took steps to gain certification for its environmental management system according to the EMAS and ISO 14001 standards for those locations which had a major impact on the environment. All certified facilities of the EVN Group are listed in the official register of the Austrian Federal Environmental Agency.
In the last few years, EVN’s existing environmental management system has been expanded to encompass occupational health and safety requirements, and integrated into a unified system.
