ADR Program
In the US, EVN AG has established an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) Program. EVN shares are traded OTC in a Level I ADR Programme. This offers the company higher visibility in the US market, more active trading and greater liquidity.
ADRs are issued by a U.S. bank, in EVN's case by The Bank of New York, acting as depositary. An ADR is a certificate evidencing a specific number of American Depositary Shares. The relation between the number of ADRs and the number of shares is typically referred to as the ADR ratio.
