Customers

EVN has approximately 3.7 million customers and operates in in 20 countries. In total, EVN supplies about 3,288,000 electricity customers, 290,000 gas and 77,600 heating customers. In the domestic market in Lower Austria, EVN provides 497,400 inhabitants with drinking water, of which 72,600 are served directly. Furthermore EVN serves around 118,827 cable TV and 57,413 telecoummunications customers.

WTE Group, a leading service company for drinking water and wastewater treatment services, has already concluded more than 93 drinking water/wastewater projects serving more than 14 million people, operating projects in 16 countries.

EVN operates a waste incineration plant in Dürnrohr with a capacity of 500,000 t annually. In recent years, work on a waste incineration facility in Moscow with a capacity of 360,000 t annually was also finished.
The development and maintenance of long-term relationships with existing and potential customers are important EVN objectives. A special EVN concern is the intelligent employment of resources, which not only corresponds with environmentally-conscious energy management, but also provides customer advantages, as the careful use of energy cuts the bills of the customers.
